Cold Front

Last Friday, I left work and made a few stops on the way home when I noticed this very unusual cloud formation. Since I carry my camera in my purse, I took the time to snap a few shots when I got out of the car. Apparently a lot of people were curious, because on the news that night, viewers had sent in their photos asking about them. I just thought they were really cool.

I noticed your pictures here and had to make a comment. It's not only having a camera with you, but realizing that you have one and taking the pictures.

To this day, I want to kick myself once time my brother and I saw a very strange cloud formation that resembled a funnel cloud (it was a beautiful day otherwise) and I had a working videocamera in the back seat.

In fact, there's been a couple times that I've had a chance to take a great picture, camera in hand, but was so engrossed in the moment that I never thought to use it.

You do wonder what would make clouds like that.

I could probably carry my camera, but to remember to put the little card that actually holds the pictures back in it is another thing.

Everytime I see clouds like this I think that only God can get away with that. If I did a painting with those kind of clouds people would not think it looked real.
