One of the things I've been wanting to do with this blog for quite some time are book reviews. I've been an avid reader since I was 8 years old and discovered the school library. That should quailfy me for something.
Maybe I can even put the vast amount of critique to use that I've received over the past 4 or 5 years. There are some really good books out there now, and some not so good, so I'm going to go for it.
Gosh, it's been awhile! I just started writing seriously again. My children's book, Amelia Frump and her Peanut Butter Loving, Overactive Imagination is at Amazon.com
I'd love to have a review from you! Let me know what your procedures are, please. :o)

Hi, Debbie, I never really thought that anyone would want my review so I haven't figured out procedures. It'd be my privilige to review your book and I'll let you know when I get it done.
I don't like a lot of books so I don't think I'd be a good critic. Blogs are more fun to read anyway. Come to think of it, I did one book review for Amazon.com. I think six people found it helpful and 50 didn't. And I thought my review was pretty good.
I'll have to get a hold of one of Debbie's books too. The book sounded really cool from the trailer.
My last day after 37 years and 9 months was 12/31/11. I am so enjoying not dragging my butt out of bed at 5:30 in the morning; not having ravenous alligators stacked at my door snarling for their pound of flesh;not dealing with all the people with their hands out saying, "Gimmie."
I'd like to publish some of my writing and I'm contemplating the possibility of becoming a freelance copy editor.
I'm married and have a grown son and daughter. They have blessed me with a grandson and a grandaughter.
I'm a native Californian who got lost and wound up in Illinos, then migrated south to Texas. Hallelujah!
