My last day after 37 years and 9 months was 12/31/11. I am so enjoying not dragging my butt out of bed at 5:30 in the morning; not having ravenous alligators stacked at my door snarling for their pound of flesh;not dealing with all the people with their hands out saying, "Gimmie." I'd like to publish some of my writing and I'm contemplating the possibility of becoming a freelance copy editor. I'm married and have a grown son and daughter. They have blessed me with a grandson and a grandaughter. I'm a native Californian who got lost and wound up in Illinos, then migrated south to Texas. Hallelujah!

Wow, thanks for making my day! My day hasn't been going that well either. I wrenched my shoulder dragging my makeshift coffin out of the basement for my Halloween yard display. But I'm sure everyone goes through that this time of year.
At least I haven't had to live with pain on a daily basis. I hope drugs do better for you than they've done for me. Somebody told me mandarin orange tea is a great pick-me-up. Haven't been able to find any mandarin oranges, though.
Sorry, just wandering on here. I get that way too.
